Jorrit Poelen

Jorrit Poelen has worked with Dr. James D. Simons since 2011. The focus of their collaboration is to develop methods to query, analyze and visualize species interaction data. As the collaboration matured, Jorrit conceived and helped build Global Biotic Interactions (GloBI). GloBI is an open infrastructure that provides access to integrated species interaction data. At the time of writing (Sep 2014), GoMexSI leverages GloBI to query spatio-temporal interaction data, provide data summaries and link to resources including, but not limited to, the Encyclopedia of Life, and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission GAME Survey.
